Our Mission
Years ago, I started to cry out to the Lord for wisdom on how to study the Bible, and the Spirit of Christ placed in my mind the following statement. "It is essential for old and young, not only to read God's word but to study it with wholehearted earnestness, praying and searching for truth as for hidden treasure. Those who do this will be rewarded, for Christ will quicken the understanding.” {COL 111}.
What is the hidden treasure? I did not want to be a surface reader only, but I wanted to understand the deeper and fuller meaning of God’s Holy Word. It was out of this desire that the ministry today was born for the Lord was faithful to demonstrate how to “dig into the Word.”
“Those who are engaged in proclaiming the third angel's message are searching the Scriptures upon the same plan that Father Miller adopted… simple but intelligent and important rules for Bible study and interpretation.” {RH Nov. 25, 1884}.
When I came to accept the principles of Miller's Rules for Bible study, I had finally learned how to mine and discern the Truth.
Indwelling Word Ministries have made this method of Bible study the foundation for all truth preached from the Word of God. It lies here that one will either make or break themselves in the last days for we are told, “They that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever… but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.” Dan. 12:3&10.
The key lies in the method of study and understanding, as Jesus said to a certain lawyer: “What is written in the law? How readest thou?” Luke 10:26. There are many ways the Word of God can read, but there is just one true understanding as Christ told that same lawyer, “Thou hast answered right.” John 10:28.
When God’s people are faithful to adopt the right method of Bible interpretation, all will receive the acclamation from Jesus, “Thou hast answered right.” Here at Indwelling Word Ministries, we want to be found faithful using a consistent method of Bible study that will lead to no private understanding of God’s Word. “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake [as they were] moved by the Holy Ghost.” 2 Pet. 1:20&21. To prophesy is to preach or instruct in religious doctrines; therefore, one can see from Peter it is inconceivable for there not to be common ground on any Biblical truth if a consistent method of Bible study is used.
The headquarters of Indwelling Word Ministries is located in Romania. We are principally an online and media ministry, but when opportunity affords, we are more than grateful and willing to be of service to travel for the Lord.
There is a need today to return to the foundations of a movement that began over 175 years ago. Messages were preached at one time that are not being discovered today. New light is coming forward, which many are not willing to pick up. God’s sheep have been scattered by unfaithful shepherds, and it has occurred through erroneous doctrines and private interpretation only to the profit of those who have instituted them. God has promised, “When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.” Isa. 59:19. Indwelling Word Ministries purposes to be part of those who gather with the Lord and not scatter. Zeph. 3:19,20.
True education in the Living Word of God is the key to setting men and women free to a joyous and sanctifying Christian experience. Not “tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, [and] cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive.” Eph. 4:14. Our head is Christ and it is He that gives more grace. It is He that by “speaking the truth in love, (we) may grow up into Him in all things, which is the head, [even] Christ.” Eph. 4:15. Indwelling Word Ministries point to Christ as our Head. We point to Christ as the only and all source for everything we need for the last days to stand and be found faithful.
We declare…“For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received [it] not [as] the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.” I Thess. 2:13. “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, [do] all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.” Col 3:16&17. Indwelling Word Ministries knows the difference between Christ and men for our Head tells us, “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are life.” John 6:63.
